A few USA schools do not allow snacks during school break time. If the student is found breaking the school law, then the food will be take off and returned when the classes are over.
I think a few healthy snacks for the school break time doesn't harm, the schools should allow the student to enjoy during the break. As long as the student keep the classroom clean and tidy, why not?
