Dear Mayor Jerry Sanders,
We kindly request from you to extend the laws protecting the seals and their newborn cubs farther from the current date of May 15, 2011. This will give the cubs and their nursing mothers appropriate time to gain strength to return to their oceanic habitat.
We understand that you are very familiar with this matter and do not require to explain the issue to you in detail. Please call upon us if you have any questions or concerns.
