We, the undersigned, represent rural America. We believe that any effort on the part of the Federal Communications Commission to modify or change the Universal Service Fund must address the need for BOTH sustainability of existing rural service provider networks and expand broadband availability. Failure to address sustainability of rural service provider networks will result in a digital divide impacting the opportunity for education, employment and commerce in rural America.

I support this petition. I live in rural America and depend on my service provider network for business as well as pleasure. It is very important to older citizens to be able to have access to medical care via the local phone system. Please don't make any negative chanes in our system.

I support this petition. I recently changed over to Broadband from dialup and see the EXTREME difference it makes in a day. I do family history and other things online and having Broadband makes it SO much faster to download or send photos or charts from Ancestry, etc. I have been taking care of my 95 yr. old Mom for over 11 yrs. now, which can be time-consuming and sometimes stressful. Having Broadband allows me to get my work done faster, which totally eliminates any stress. I can't imagine going back to anything else. PLEASE don't cut funds for this MOST necessary service.
