Official Petition to the NFL to No Longer Allow an Exclusive License.

Ever since EA Sports obtained the exclusive NFL license in 2005-2006 the quality of the game has suffered greatly, while the price has risen. The game is full of advertisements, multiple gameplay issues, terrible presentation, and generally lacks a genuine feeling of NFL football. After EA purchased the NFL exclusive license, they brought on the responsibility of creating an NFL simulation experience. It is in the opinion of the members signing this petition that they have failed at this responsibility, and we believe this will not change until some competition is injected back into the market. Please let your friends who are dissatisfied with the same game being released each and every year with the same core gameplay issues remaining know about this petition. The NFL's deal with EA expires in 2012. We have plenty of time to collect thousands, and hopefully millions of signatures before this deal is done.
