Stop Unfair NSF Fee Charges

We the undersigned strongly disagree with the NSF Fee charge system based on "largest check cashed first".

A lot of times the bank will post the largest amount of the checks first. For example, if I have 100 in my checking account and I write 5 checks, 2 for $30, 2 for $20 and 1 for $60, obviously the bank will post the $60 first, then 2 $30 checks.

So, there are 3 checks bounced back. 1 of the $30 checks and the two $20.00 checks. Now I am owing $80 plus the $99 fees so adds up $179. The difference is, if the bank cashed 2 $30 and 2 $20, I would only owe $93 only!

This is unfair to the customers because the banks charge more NSF fees thus they get higher profits!

Please sign this petition if you think this practise is unethical and should be changed as soon as possible.
