oh c'mon. that's too much mayor lim. why can't the city hall just have a life and leave us alone? they haven't given enough funds for us and now they got the guts to do these. no one is above masci be it be another school or the government itself. this ain't just some school, neither just the first scinece school in the country. mshs is an institution. yes, no one may be above the law but no one is above the rights and ethics of us mascians. what's next? baby james science high school? alfredo lim high school? no offense to the aquino's but it just ain't right.

While I am greatly supportive of moves to immortalize Corazon Aquino, renaming Manila Science High School is not the answer. It is like sacrificing a great institution for another. I suggest that instead of renaming Masci, they should just build another school. This will help more disenfranchised youth while preserving the legacy of the FIRST EVER SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY. Cory was great, but then so are Mascians. I support this petition.

I will not support this kind of an idea. As a mascian we grew under it's name, we have preserve it's name with honor and it's name should remain forever in hearts for our children to believe that there is one school that we believe in eternally. Name does not change it's prestige and glory, if somebody wants to remember someone, remember them at your expense, don't use the glory of other for your own personnal agenda. All mascian had stood to be upright knowing that their backbone is always at their side, don't destroy this belief...
