No to the Renaming of Manila Science High School!

MaScians and MaSci believers, in the 46 years of existence of our alma mater we have seen and felt the worst of public education. From the perpetually malodorous comfort rooms, to the lack of state support despite our ‘government science high school’ status; but we endured and excelled in spite of these unfavorable conditions and held our own against other schools for the love of Manila Science. But today, a new threat rears its ugly head, by the end of the week, the city government of Manila aims to change the name of our beloved high school into the ‘Corazon Aquino High School’; that upon the change puts the very essence of our school into obscurity. This is why I urge you to share this post, let our voices be heard and protest this grave attack to our identity.
