It is generally acknowledged that the Fiber Optic Cable and the introduction of Broadband technology is both desirable and essential to the development of business and the empowerment of individuals wherever they may live.
The Business Community in East, Central and South Africa is both encouraged by the efforts made by the governments to bring in the EASY Cable Plan on our shores and we believe this will go a long way to improving business processes in our region, improving our competitiveness and opening East Central and South Africa to the world business-wise.
However, this petition seeks to challenge the governments to put up more effort and more investments to this idea as the current progress is too slow.
