An Appeal from All Logan Lovers from India

Logan car launched in India in 2007 by Renault (aka Reno) in joint venture with Mahindra & Mahindra by making a new company named Mahindra Renault Private Limited. Car Lovers and Buyers from all over India were very curious too see worlds on of the most successful car in India and an entry level sedan with wide body and big boot space.

Lot of them booked including me (Diesel DLS version) and got delivery after waiting for a month or so. Drove the car and I was quit happy with my decision. Everything went well till one year from launch and then over the period of time Logan sales started to decline badly in all over India. It was sad news fo all Logan owners to people showing least interest including review agancies and auto masters.

We expected that MR (Mahindra Renault) will soon come with some new tactics to promote sales by boosting brand name using new launch's but they failed badly to achive anything in all terms including sales & marketing.

For us it was the biggest JV failure in auto history becuase Logan has already proved its worth worldwide. Inspite of all rumors atlast Renault sold all its equity (49%) to Mahindra by making Logan now a Mahindra product in India. Again as Mahindra till now not shoed any interest in future plans for Logan except one trimmed version which we all Logan owner feel a slap on prestige of Logan.

Through this petition we all Logan owners from all over India request Renault to think back Logan sales in India with some more promising new launch and continue support all of us as you were in starting days.

20.	3 months ago R N Dutt Yes. The plus points of this car were never properly put forth. This car has a mileage test which returned 30.5 kmpl (done by Overdrive magazine) which nobody knows whereas Ford has made a whole advertising campaign out of a similar Autocar test of their Fiesta Diesel! They distributed copies of the article like election pamphlets. Logan is a complete car with even all the wheel arches intact, good enginnering, build quality and drive/handling as well as an excellent engine. What is Mahindra doing?
