Africa, dont wait for Obama to save you

There is this widespread notion that a savior for Africa in the name of Obama has come. Africans have for so long felt sidelined in the global arena and having someone of their color stand as the leader of the West sure does fuel interest.

However, I would like to tell my African brothers that there is only one way to development, and that is work. Creativity and work. Do not wait for others to come sort out your problems - you've got the potential. Obama's father was one of you - now see how much he has achieved.

Go on, stand up and work for your futures- your own way.
